Peter Shepherd, a square, wide-eyed law student, leaves behind everything he's ever known to become a film producer during one of the most tumultuous times in Hollywood - the late 1960's.

A comedy about a young loser who desperately tries to make it with a blind date, who turns out to be pregnant. She parries his advances by playing solitaire and staying awake until he wearies of pursuit and falls asleep.

In the East Atlanta neighborhood, Little Five Points, a single-black-woman is dealing with the threat of marriage to a boring-in-bed boyfriend and the sudden, random death of a college acquaintance. The tragedy drives her ambitious group of friends to take a deeper look at their stagnant lives, asking themselves— is there something bigger and better in life.

After being dumped by his girlfriend, a man stuck in a deadend life decides to audition for a small role in a local community theatre's production of Cyrano de Bergerac. Despite having no experience as an actor, he lands the lead role, which wreaks havoc upon his life.
